Reini Adelbert has recently established Racoustic Guitar Retreats which will offer facilitated workshops in special locations centered around. He regularly facilitates guitar retreats at the Buddhist Retreat Centre, Ixopo KZN, and will be adding other venues, each offering their own unique ambience. The workshops are not ability orientated – players and enthusiasts at all levels of competence will find something of value. Caroline Blundell will co-facilitate the workshop to be held at Monkey Valley, Long Beach, Noordhoek in April 2006. Racoustic is marketing South Africa as a retreat destination and Reini is in touch with renowned international luthiers and players to secure their support - it is likely that we will see some of these personalities out here in future.
